Ports Niagara

The City of Thorold is located within a multi-modal transportation hub. The city is truly a multi-modal community in that it boasts actively used rail, water and highway/road infrastructure, as well as an airport in nearby Niagara-on-the-Lake.

Ports Niagara is a new initiative focused on raising awareness of the Welland Canal's economic impact and business opportunities for the Niagara Region. Ports Niagara has created a website that offers a one stop shop for detailed information pertaining to the Welland Canal and other infrastructure assets within Niagara.
