The region is home to the renowned Brock University and one of Ontario's top ranked colleges - Niagara College, offering a diverse range of programs that nourish the region.
Students in Thorold have access to two education systems that continuously strive for higher learning - The District School Board of Niagara has four elementary and one high school and Niagara Catholic District School Board has two elementary schools in Thorold.

Thorold also benefits from its location by being the central point between Brock University and Niagara College.
