The Regional Municipality of Niagara has introduced a variety of incentive programs which are designated to level the financial playing field between greenfield development and brownfield redevelopments.  These innovative programs offer tax incentives for the development community which will help redevelop, rehabilitate, and rejuvenate properties which have been vacant or underutilized.

These programs are part of Niagara’s effort to address the issue of urban sprawl and protect our sensitive non-renewable agricultural lands.  The programs are all part of Niagara’s effort to build a “Smarter Niagara.”
