Welland Canals Heritage Park (Investment Required: $118-$130 million)
Spectacular site encircling the Welland Canal, adjacent to Lock 3 Visitor Centre (museum, restaurant, observation deck) and future St. Lawrence Seaway Interpretive Centre. An engineering marvel and maritime legacy to promote and expand on, with remnants of earlier canals, recreational trails and nearby UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve adding to the development opportunities. Parkway Master Plan projects 2.6 million people spending $218 million annually on this scenic tourist route. Potential National Park designation will bring Parks Canada branding and advertising recognition.

Gateway Fort Erie (Investment Required: $79-$105 million)
Dynamic, busy site on-route to/from the Peace Bridge to USA (5 minutes) and Niagara Falls (15 minutes). Direct access to 6.5 million passenger and 1.4 million commercial vehicles a year and growing. Near parks, open space and golf courses.
