Digital Media & Software Development

Digital media is hot, engaging and a national economic development priority. In Niagara the digital media sector is robust and growing, sustained by entrepreneurial business leaders, a pool of talented researchers and creative programmers, and a broad spectrum of products and services. An increase of demand, fuelled by advances and convergence in communications technology and the growing expectations of consumers, are creating new digital media businesses that are becoming economic cornerstones of a new Niagara.

The world has been revolutionized through the development of the Internet, as well as digital and interactive technology. Niagara is at the forefront of Interactive Digital Media development.

In an effort to gain competitiveness in the Digital and Interactive Media sector, Niagara has successfully launched nGen – Niagara Interactive Media Generator, which is a business incubator for local entrepreneurs involved in digital media development.
