Niagara Economic Development offers Project Expeditor Services for existing Niagara businesses looking to expand 
and new businesses interested in investing and developing in Niagara.

A Niagara Economic Development staff member is available to provide coordinated assistance to businesses, developers and investors that are undertaking or planning to undertake major employment use development projects in Niagara. 

These services can include the following:

  • Addressing development approvals and other process issues
  • Provision of information on tools, resources and financial incentives available to assist with your project
  • Assistance in completing financial incentive program applications
  • Liaison and coordination with Regional departments and local municipal planning and economic development officials to help facilitate and expedite your project

The company planning to build one of Canada’s largest industrial wind turbine farms in Niagara has been given the approval to move forward.
Niagara Region Wind Corp. said Wednesday it is on track to build its 77-turbine wind farm in Niagara region and Haldimand county, after the Ministry of the Environment issued its Renewable Energy Approval last week.
